The Riffle at Old Seven River Camp

The Riffle

The most modern, and the closest to the water.

1 bedroom + pull-out sofa · ¾ bath · sleeps 3

The cabin

Glass, wood, and the sound of the water

The Riffle is the most contemporary of the three cabins and the one nearest the river. It's named for the riffle just outside: the stretch of fast, shallow water over the rocks where trout like to feed. It's also steps from the cold plunge: a calm pool by the newest little beach, with two huge boulders to sit on while your friends take the plunge. Vertical wood siding, a vaulted wood ceiling, and a wall of glass that slides open onto a large river-facing deck.

One bedroom with a queen, plus a twin pull-out sofa, and a compact kitchenette with granite counters. A wood-burning stove and a Mitsubishi mini-split handle heat and air conditioning; one guest called it “a great luxury… modern, easy to use and very effective.” A great option for grandparents, retreat leaders, or whoever's up first.

What guests say

★★★★★

“The cabin was quaint and cozy, plenty of windows facing the trees and the river. We often had the windows open and listened to the river from inside. Beautiful and peaceful property!”

— Nathaniel, Justin, TX
★★★★★

“Though you share the property with two other cabins, you feel very secluded and private. A great luxury is the modern, easy-to-use A/C and heat. This really felt like the perfect stay.”
